Default Transfer Case

when i shift into 4 high it does not work, it acts as if its in neutral. the part time 4wd and low range work great. Anyone eles have similar issues? Could it be the the switch for the 4wd? Also have a bearing squealing, sounds like output shaft bearing, Iv flushed it out and changed oil but didnt seem to help, I guess my main question is would it be worth the hastle to fix this transfer or get another one to swap out?
