My front speakers are not working. Tested the left front and I get 5.4 volts DC on the hot side. After fooling around with this for about a hour I found that if I ground the - side I get sound. This is a 99 scout and I replaced the tape with a Jeep CD radio with no change. Does any one know if these have an amp like some have. Does any one have a wiring diagram or have had this problem.

 

I found that it was losing continuity in the flex duct between body and door.

 

How did you find that out? I hope thats not what my problem was lol I just bought a new radio
