Default Transfer Case

Alright, so unfortunately I would just look at what the t-case looks like and such right now to indentify what t-case I currently have, except I do not have my jeep at the moment.

It is getting looked over by a professional to make sure things are in order so I will have the smallest chance on my summer trip of breaking down. I have my build sheet, could anyone help me on figuring this out?

Selec trac full time 4wd means you have a np242. So you can drive in 4wd at any speed on dry pavement

Dang, I was hoping I didn't have that.
Do you know of a place where I can get a SYE for the NP242?
Or do I strictly have to go with a hack n' tap? If so, where is a place you would recommend I get one from.

From all the reading ive done, the 242 aftermarket is very limited and I'm about 99% positive that you can only get a hack&tap and even that pretty limited

Well I know where I could get one but I am guessing it won't come cheap?

$200 for the hack n tap and driveshaft. Pretty cheap if you ask me and I've read nothing but good things about this kit. I plan on getting it in the very near future as well

Hack&tap is another way of doing a slip yike eliminator, it reduces driveline vibrations with a lifted jeep
