19 myself and just had to do my own transmission swap took me a couple days but nothing feels better than doin it yourself. What tranny fluid did you use? Take off any driveshafts? Transmission lines all on correct? Shift lever and all wires hooked up correct?

You said it has a new filter, and is making a gurgling sound. Me thinks your trans is sucking air, not fluid. Something wrong with the filter or the installation.

It is dripping from the bottom of the pan almost like it didnt seal. I didnt do the filter myself the previous owner did so i cant be forcertain on his work. Also yes i used dex mer III im going to take the tranny pan off and put new gasket and make sure everything is good to go under there

Well thanks for all the help shes up and moving it was a combo a little things. Now i got a different problem. Put 100 miles on it and turning onto my road she went from 210 to 260. And so i tryed the turn the heat on to get some heat out. Only to find...no heat. Tonight im throwing waterpump and t stat on it in hopes of that being the problem cus they were both old and prolly failed. But the no heat thing makes me curious. How do i test the heater core i took both hoses off that go threw the fire wall and blew water threw and it flowed fine and clear. I heard theres a a door in the heater core that could get stuck shut how do i go about getting to the heater core. Is the only way taking the entire dash out?
