Default Trans swap

I'm swapping a trans on my friends 97 cherokee,it's an automatic. Never done this before just wondering if someone had a step by step on removing and reinstall. Any help would be greatly appreciated

A good repair manual would be a good investment.

I have a 97, and 98 to work on soon, so I will need a repair manual

also, soon. Someone posted a link to a pdf manual on here,

but I will have to look for the link....

Ya I've been lookin around. Took off the easy stuff cross member and the linkage. Gonna do the heavier things tomorrow

Do not forget the crank sensor on the back of the bell housing....

Haven't even touched any of that yet I found a post on here with some good info so I'm going off of that today
