trans cooler line
jeep started smoking from under it looked around and found upper(shorter) trans cooler line spraying fluid. im gonnaq have to patch it with rubber and hose clamps to get home. the one end looks like a quick disconnect and the other goes in to a rubber hose. any tips on how to change this line would be great. thanks.

Or something like this. I know there are cheaper plastic ones but could not find a picture for you.

oh ok cool thanks. u think the rubber and hose clamp should work for a temp fix? the rubber coated metal base the holds the two lines in place wore a hole in the upper line.

Yes sir.
I have a '79 Bronco that the return line did the exact same thing on. I was about four hours away from home on a Sunday so everything was closed. I had some hose clamps in the tool box but no hose, so I trimmed some trimmed some from under the hood and patched it up. Didnt leak a drop the entire way home.
