trans coolant line
I have a 1999 xj. The one coolant line that goes to the radiator is leaking at the fitting. Could I cut the fitting off and hose clamp it to the radiator?

Pic?
the top line has a threaded fitting, the bottom has a "quick connect" fitting. Could just be that the oring/plastic cage in the quick connect is worn out, I would try that first.

I had the same leak on my trans cooling lines John. I did the same repair in this thread: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/tra...ion-fix-30509/ No more leaks. I used a dremel with a cutting blade to remove crimp fittings. It was quick and easy. While you're in there, make sure to check the fittings going into the radiator.
