Unhappy track bar tie rods

I have a adjustable track bar from rough country. The tie rod end is dead. I have spoke to a few people on this and everyone has come to the same conclusion, the tie rods end on this track bar is crap. they break to easy. My question is, is there any other tie rod end that could or would fit in this track bar that is heavy duty or just of better construction?

i believe it is a 3/4 inch tie rod end. imo they are junk. id replace it then immediately sell it and use the money to buy a piece of 1.5 inch .250 wall dom tube and a heim joint. my old trac bar with a rod end lasted 8k on road miles and was done, my new home made trac bar with a heim in it has had 6k OFF road miles (my xj isnt a dd anymore) and is no where near being done. and to replace the heim is about 15 bucks and you can get them anywhere.
point is that i would replace that trac bar with one similar to the rubicon express one.

heck ill even build you one if you want, i love fabbing stuff like that. seriously
pm me if you want me to

how much would it be if you built me one and could it be adjustable. I am going to lift it a few more inches and shave off some more of my fenders to fit 38 or 40 on it.

found the tie rod ends for the track bar. Part # ES140R. fits perfect and is a little heavier duty.

Yeah I've got an RC adj trackbar, first tie rod went out after 1500 miles, got it warrantied and the new one was shot after one wheeling trip. Safe to say that the ones they supply are very poorly built. Go with Moog, or other quality brand, should last quite a bit longer.

I've had mine for over 2 years with no problems. But I make sure to grease it a couple times and year and that seems to be the trick.

Yes, people seem to over look the simple maintenance things like regularly greasing the chassis, ujoints, tie rod ends and ball joints.

Eh, I do that, still had mine fail. I think you'd have to be pretty gentle on a TRE style trackbar(IE no wheeling) for one to last two years.

Broke my RC trackbar end after 3 days. I slightly overtightened it beyond spec to line up the pin hole and now it spins freely. NONE of the parts stores carried them in stock, atleast not a genuine moog ES140R.

If you have the RC trackbar I would order up an extra end from rockauto or somewhere, cause they robbed me for over $50 at Advance.
I need it quick cause I scheduled my post lift alignment in 2 days.

Default RC Trackbar Rod End

ES140R is NOT the correct rod end end for the RC adj. trackbar they are currently selling. Atleast not for the 1.5-4.5" lift range (RC part #7572).
I purchased that end, and it is way too short, and diameter is way too small.
I called Rough Country, and went to NAPA to get the correct rod end for $19. Dont go to advance, they want $48.

MOOG Part # ES3096 or ES3096L

Same part as Front Outer for an 8 cyl. XJ (91'and up), ZJ,or YJ
