Is this the same process for a 99 GRAND Cherokee or will I have to do it different? N if so, some help wuld b nice.

Do not use the swaybar mounting points alone. That area is simply not srong enough to handle the stresses incurred. Very bad idea and VERY dangerous.

Use a set of OE style mounts or a comparable product to disperse the load amoung multiple fasteners.

those little flimsy factory set ups bend like pretzels ive seen three in the jy i would never trust some thing as flimsy as that ,inside the front frame there are at least 3/8 to 1/2 in thick plates welded on to the bottom were the sway bar bolts were bolted to ,as with any recovert point mounting its up to the installer and driver to use care when using them

I got mine from a jy and the last thing I would call them is flimsy it there very heavy the hooks are questionable but the mouns are rock solid I don't know if they were aftermarket or OEM

Well thanks but these have held up to much heavier rigs than the Jeep and they actually get the rig up high enough to work on, unlike the cheepo store boughts that I have used and bent in the past...

@ serious i also have used hte sway bar mount holes and tow hooks off a chevy 1500 never had a problem and i yanked so hard i snapped chains and tow straps the frame never showed one sign of weakness
