Default Top Hose Inner Diameter

Does anyone know what the size of the top hose inner diameter? From the top of the radiator to the water pump. I forgot what the size was and I didn't write it down.

Assuming for your 93 4.0 XJ, the top hose ID's are 1.21" and 1.44". The radiator shows 1.25" top nipple, so other end must be larger. Russ

Ok, I was interested because I wanted to make a t- fitting out of brass. I wanted to make one so I can fill the top part of the hose some more. I have AC so part of the hose raised up above the radiator to go over the compressor. I have it half filled now, additional squeezing won't work for me to get it more full like everyone says. So I was planning on cutting the top hose in half and inserting a brass t- fitting you can piece together from west marine.
