changed oil and filter to Rotella 15W40. Oil pressure stays high and seems more stable: a hair under the 20 mark at idle and about 30 while driving.
Replaced the IAC with a newer one... I know it is not the best, but money is short so I picked up 4 at a JY for $5 , cleaned them and tested them (found a tutorial online to do that)
Found a missing bolt on the exhaust manifold.... replaced and got rid of the whistle
Idle is smoother definitely, but still just about 500rpm when hot.
If I drive and stop it is looking like it is going to die then rpm goes up to 750 for a second then go back down to 500....
I am beginning to think it is a jeep thing lol and about to put that on the side until i get to replace the 02sensor and other things that i know are shot....
