Question Drivers headlight out, dim, works

To make it short. My drivers headlight either doesn't work..Is only half as bright as the other side..Or works fine...Changing the bulb doesn`t help. Anyone else experience this and have an idea where to look? Plug maybe?...Thanks

check the ground on the plug, I bet it's corroded, also just do a check on the wire itself....corrosion on the headlight grounds causes high resistance which keeps full power from the headlight and that creates a low output. Seeing as it's only one side my $ is on an issue with the ground for that light.

Agreed, in my experience the wires can be corroded or even look on the back of the light itself.

Also look at the area where the wires enter the socket (back side), with all this on-off and low brightness, you may have a burned socket. You can pick up a universal socket for under $10 and splice it in place of the old one.
