My 98 xj with a 3inch rustys lift. I put 32x11.50's on it last week, they rub my fenders, which i am going to trim. But at full turn my tires hit the (stock) lower control arms. Would aftermarket Lower control arms fix this? My steering stops look to rusty to adjust.

no you need new rims with less back spacing
No more back spacing, mine did that on my 3" RC lift with 30x9.50x15's, i still have the stock LC arms, but my new wheels have a 3&3/4" backspacing and they dont hit any more.

I run 4" backspacing on mine and no longer have any rubbing on the LCAs.

3.75" backspacing is less than the 5.25" backspacing that xj's came with stock. Less backspacing = more offset. Just pointing this out so that nobody gets confused when ordering and ends up worse than stock.

There are several options:
1. Different rims: Ones with less backspacing to move rim/tire combo OUT of wheelwell.
2. Steering Stops: Use of penetrating spray a must. You would be surprised what an 1/8" thick washer can do.
3. Lower Control Arms: Use of WJ lower control arms is the cheaper way to go as they have a "bend" in them from factory.
4. Combo: Utilizing and TWO from the list above together.
Now, I have work to do. These parts don't make themselves ya know.

My bad, I was assuming the stock wheels were at a "0" backspacing
