lol i got you i am trying to convert her to jeeps she is a Vdub girl i tryen to get her to get a xj but she wants a wrangler....

 

girls care more about what they look like in a vehicle than anything else. I would love to have wrangler too but they are just so expensive. I'll take my $500 heap

I must be lucky, i gave my girl my old beat up 96 XJ but then the trans started going out and a bunch of other problems. This past friday she gave me money and i can home with a clean 2000 for her. Now she wants to turn the 96 into the trail rig, shes got the bug.

Food for thought, to swap a manual you need trans, flywheel, clutch (idk how you would but a pilot bushing in an auto engine), hydraulics and clutch pedal.

 

Wire harness? Computer?

 

you dont need a computer to run a manual, back up lights can be wired pretty easily
