Default Tire Jack

What kind of jacks do you guys have? I have the one that came from the factory. But I went to jack up my Jeep, but it couldn't go high enough to lift the wheel off the ground. WTF is that all about? My tires are only 235 and the stock recommended is 225. I have no lift.

What kind of jacks do you guys use? I want one that works.

Nope I have the stock jack and mine wont lift the heep off the ground high enough even when on the axel. For some reason I find this very interesting. It's a bottle jack but doesn't have an extenable head..?

What can I use as a jack point for a hi lift on a stock cherokee?? (without adding bumpers/sliders)

if it dont bother you too much you can cut a small notch on the bottom side of the bumpers for the hi lift to fit into. i did that with mine and it lifted it right up and didnt bend the bumper at all

I have both a bottle jack and a high lift.

You bottle jack might have gotten all rusted up. I don't know about where your at, but at the local auto grave yards here you can pick up used bottle jacks for 5-10 bucks.

Yeah my bottle works too. I learned my lesson using a hi-lift as a jack when doing repairs or maintenance.

Your auto parts store or sears would have nice bottle jacks.

How many time are you going to ask on how to jack up your Jeep? If you haven't figured it out with all the old post you brought up. You should never even try to put it up on a jack even to change out your tire changed out. Pay someone to do it for you.
