Spoken like a true XJ owner, lol. 100k miles is just the break-in!

Great thread also. I've got 4 new NTK O2 sensors, NGK plugs and CCV parts ready to go in this weekend. Hopefully I can improve on my 12mpg

Changes channels.

Increases the fluid pressure in the trans to make the shifts quicker and more crisp, reducing wear.

Holy shift points Batman!!! I just did this and took a little spin around the block, I am very surprised at the results of this... How often should this be reset? I'm thinking of just adding this to my oil change check list.

Maybe not that often, but it makes a difference, huh?

It definitely made a notice able difference. My trans used to slowly change gears but now it just clicks right into the next one.

Both mine are/were completely stock, I don't "seafoam", use special, mystical Amsoil lubricants, magic $25 spark plugs or non-spec fuel injectors either, lol.
I'd love to see 22 mpg on the highway. Neither my 99 or my 96 would cross 20mpg highway no matter how grannylike I drive. 14-15 city 19-20 hwy pretty consistently. What's your secret?
