Timing chain snapped

just to give a resolution to this problem just incase anyone else encounters it in the future, the problem laid in a faulty chain, i did remove the head to check on pistons and all of that fun stuff and nothing was damaged from the metal floating around, i re-timed it and all went fairly smoothly, one thing that i did run into was timing was needing to be retarded by 1 tooth on the DISTRIBUTOR not the cam or crank gear, ran amazing after. Hope maybe in the future this will help someone out PM me if you ever have any kind of trouble like the kind i experienced.
