console swap/e-brake handle ???
I have a 96 2 door Cherk. picked up some seats and an intact cupholder-console form a later year Grand Cherokee Larado-----not sure what year it was. Seats are nice but brackets are a couple inches wider and will require some creativity to install (and lots of PB blaster to get the bolts out of my 96 without snapping them off) Since I have a 2 door and have removed the rear seating to make a full length cargo deck the rear seat H/AC ducting is pretty moot; as is not having folding front seats.
Installing the console after repainting it looks pretty straightforward---- except for the E-brake handle. A number of threads reference "bending" it but I have not run across a description and or photos showing what/how to do it. can anyone point me in the right direction for further info?
