Good luck. Sunny here in Canada today!
It could be that, it's a new starter that a mechanic put in for me.
Good idea, gonna check on it later perhaps.

Funny, this ticking started right after I put on my new NSS. Can I have done something wrong there?
I know the NSS is on there tight, have even felt it while it's been ticking, so that is not loose.

Changed the oil a few weeks ago and have used the same kind of oil and filter for almost 2 years, about 4 changes.

I have never looked down there no.
But could it be a lifter? The ticking is not from the top of the engine.
Lifters are in the center of the engine.

Hmm ok, that does not sound like an easy fix, not sure about going in to the engine with my basic skills...

Wonder if it's anything dangerous or not? Hard to tell I guess.
Hate it when I get all the problems which are intermittent instead of stuff that just are broken!

You can unstick a pesky lifter without doing engine work.

What's it look like inside the oil fill hole?

Oh you can? What is a lifter and where exactly is it located?

Sorry, haven't had time to peep into the hole. Probably do it tomorrow...

I think it may be unavailable over there for some reason.
It's an additive and you only need a quart of it though.

Shine a light in the filler hole yet?
