Did you tighten your starter bolts when you were down there? I had a bit of noise and it turned out my top starter bolt had come off and the starter was just hanging by the bottom bolt (very loosely). I made a noise becuase it was moving from side to side!
Good luck. Sunny here in Canada today!

Good idea, gonna check on it later perhaps.
Funny, this ticking started right after I put on my new NSS. Can I have done something wrong there?
I know the NSS is on there tight, have even felt it while it's been ticking, so that is not loose.

Hmm filter is just a cheap no brand I buy from eBay Germany. Uhm oil... Some semi-synthetic 10-30w i believe..
Changed the oil a few weeks ago and have used the same kind of oil and filter for almost 2 years, about 4 changes.
I have never looked down there no.
But could it be a lifter? The ticking is not from the top of the engine.

Hmm ok, that does not sound like an easy fix, not sure about going in to the engine with my basic skills...
Wonder if it's anything dangerous or not? Hard to tell I guess.
Hate it when I get all the problems which are intermittent instead of stuff that just are broken!

It's an additive and you only need a quart of it though.
