Default Throttle Body?

I have a couple throttle bodies laying around and was going to try to put one on my 90 model 4.0 but they are 70mm thats a ton of air for this thing but would it be to much even with upgraded injectors?

If you search the stroker 4.7 sites they use 62mm-65mm so I know 70mm would be too much.

If you put a huge throttle body on it, I think the limiting factor would be the intake manifold,

if anything you might have some hesitation on WOT until the fuel system catches up, but you would have to have a super flowing TB and manifold.

Some of the guys that get a giant mono-blade TB for the LTx engines have found that problem and have to "tip-in" to the throttle, but honestly I dont think you would have that problem with the 4.0

I just cant see the stock 4.0 manifold and head flowing that much air

I run 63MM......I think with 70 you would have to open up the Intake for that TB.
