Default For those who disco there front sway bar

What is the length on your front brake lines from where it connects to the caliper to the top of the wheel well where the other connection is?
Brake line tearing in half is the first thing i think will go wrong when i disco my front sway bar.
i was thinking about getting some stainless steel braided lines but not know what length to get, obviously i don't want to disco my front brake line while i am off road and see how far it will drop then measure so i am looking for yalls help.

Thanks

Are you lifted at all?? If not, you can relocate your brake line brackets down a little, and you should be fine.

i have the rubicon express 22" ss brake lines with 6.5" of lift. they are just long enough when flexed out to the limiting strap and turning full lock.

x2 Im at 4" and i'm maxed at full flex and lock...I would not go a hair higher without extended lines. You have to watch the rear after about 3.5" also.

Yea sorry i meant to put that in there. Yes i have a 4.5" lift with the little extended brake line brackets. so yall are saying i can bend my hard brake line and it won't break or restrict pressure to the caliper. this is also my DD. And about the rear. i hear i can install another jeeps (not sure which one) line and be fine. but how do you remove that spliter that is attached to the axle. i will post pics tomorrow if i confused anyone.
so would it be safe to say that i could buy 20" lines for the front and be ok if i dont go the route of bending the line.

Thanks for all the responses

YJ line for the rear, think it adds 3".

So from what I've read so far from this post, my stock bent front brake line(I already straightened them out), when I disconnect my sway will be ok? I wnt have to worry about snappin a rubber hose?

Good,
I don't doubt anyones word on straightning the line out. but the way my luck is something will break to where i have to buy something i would not have needed.
I will order the 22" lines in a couple days and hopefully be able to flex completly out. (well enough to where i can see how many bumpstops i have to install

Thanks all

disco'd and flexed. This is about 80% flexed. and i wanna say the brake line is about 80% extended. there was still plenty of slack so its never been a concern.

For the rear line i had to do a Durango brake line.
