I have a 1990 XJ, and plan on converting to the newer style radiator that has no port on the radiator for a fan thermoswitch. Later Jeep XJ's from 1991 on place this switch on the thermostat housing. Is there any reason why I cannot install a 1991 and later thermostat housing on my 1990 six cylinder 4.0 liter motor?
