Default Temperature control no responding.

ETA: Sorry about the Title posted it on Ipad and it auto corrects and finishes sometimes meant NOT*

hey guys so the temperature control does not seem to be responding I was driving earlier today with the ac on everything was working fine. After the sun went down I turned the heater on.

After driving a little while got warm and turned the temperature to medium right between the red and blue and didn't notice it cooling of any so I turned it all the way to cool still blowing hot then turn the ac on the compressor seemed like it started but still piping hot air. Any thoughts? I did go through one of those automatic car washes in between the ac running and when I turned the heater on?

I know I have been doing some reading about blend doors but the symptoms dont really fit as it usually results in a lose of heat and mixed air coming through mine is just piping hot.

Could this be a vacuum leak?
