Temp gauge
I have a 95 jeep Cherokee country that is not reading a temp on the gauge. Prior to motor swap the gauge functioned properly. I recently swapped the motor with a 4.0 from a 2000 jeep. The parts that I used from the 95 include the intake, distributor, fuel rail, exhaust manifold, and injectors. The 95 had a sensor on the top right side of the valve cover in the back in the head. The 2000 4.0 does not have this sensor in that position. I'm not sure if this is the reason I'm not reading temp. If it is what could I do to fix this? If not is there anything else I could check? I also noticed that now after swap the blower motor for heat and ac is now blowing fuses when turned on. This also worked well before swap. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

That SENDER from your original engine needs to be mounted on your "new" engine.
