I had to take off my cross member when I did my trans filter and trans oil change. I had to leave the nuts loose on the transmission mount and have my brother pry the crossmember while I lined up the holes. Hope this helps.

lol yeah thats probably your best bet. I was trying to do it myself at first. a couple slips of the pry bar and a few bloody knuckles later i gave my bro a call and made his lazy ***** come help me. Somebody else might have a way to do it with one person but I like to work smarter not harder.

I did it by myself with a floor jack and prybars. It just took a little patience.

How did yall do it? Did yall install the bolts on one side and then pry the other side into position?

Exactly. I did one side at a time. I loosend the motor mount, and the transmission mount on the crossmember. I fought it for a while and then I just pulled on it right and it was much easier after that. Keep things loose until you have everybolt in and it will make it easier.
