I dont mean to pirate your post but when you add the SYE kit or Hack and Tap kit, you need a longer driveshaft. Does any one know if you can use a drive shaft off of another rig, like a full size cherokee or something rather than having to buy an aftermarket/ custom drive shaft?

In almost all cases, H&T (hack & tap) is a flange set up. You cannot use a front driveshaft for that style of SYE.
I've heard of people using a Bronco II driveshaft ... but have never bothered to verify anything on it other than the fact that it's a ford flange setup.

With that much lift, a SYE is a sure thing and I would strongly suggest a new driveshaft made to fit YOUR rig. That way you're sure it will fit correctly and less chance of failure on the trail.
I'm running a HT with a Tom Woods driveshaft, so far no problems.

You can purchase a Precision 627 / Spicer 211229X flange yoke nad repace the "regular" centering yoke used on the front DS.
But do you really think that falls in the the territory of "easy" or "cheap" ?
