Didn't you get the PORC sye kit? I got it with instructions and they were pretty good to follow but i have experience installing sye kits so it may have been easier for me to understand what's going on due to experience. My buddy followed it on his first time and did alright. It's not that hard really, once you take it apart, it's super easy to install and re-assemble.

Are you doing it under the vehicle or taking out the t-case from under the rig?

a I got the PORC SYE. I Think im just scared alittle. I was going to do it in the vehicle but now I think im just going to pull it out and install the SYE.

It is more work to pull the transfercase but it is so much easier to do this while standing up on your feet rather than laying on your back. The transfercase on a bench and it is ready to go back in within 30 minutes including beer breaks.

For starters, i would. The first one i did was on a bench and thank god because it was dark under the jeep and good lighting helps. The 2nd and 3rd Sye i did was on the vehicle with the jeep sky high on jackstands.
