not unless you are getting racket or a bumping around sound. typical wear and they are cheap so you can replace them if you want to, but not necessary.

The bolts in the two middle pics could be tightened up a little. If you can get the to turn without breaking.

I am getting a bumping/knocking sound. The sound is like two softer rocks being hit together.

Just put new shocks on and the sound was not there before but now when I go down a brick street I hear it.

Big bumps - RR tracks, speed bumps, potholes - No issue that I can HEAR.

Again, really when just going down subtle bumpy areas like a brick street.

I have checked the bolts on the shocks and they are good and tight but not to tight on top.

Do you think the bushings on the sway bar are causing this knocking sound?

They look like they got some mileage on them.
Yea I would replace them.

If you take it off road then the quick disco's would be better.

Edit: Btw Auto zone has greasable frame bushings pretty cheap. You just gotta know how thick the sway bar is.

I always figure, if I look at something and ask myself should I replace those, the answer is yes. At least that way I know it is OK.

I have one of those saying also - If it is not broke or going to break soon don't fix it.

But, I hear what you are saying. Money is tight and don't want to be just throwing parts and energy at something.

I guess what I was trying to get at is ... independent of where I buy them and what brand and color and ... Do I have the right parts identified to buy?

Do I need just the gromets for the links or do I need to replace the link? Answers to questions like that.

Consider me dumber than a box of rocks in this area and dont I assume I know anything about it. This will save me many trips to the autoparts store.

You cant get the bushings separate from the links they come as the whole link.
