I recently picked up a '97 cherokee sport 4.0l 5spd with distributor ignition and was thinking about swapping over the coil pack setup from my '01 cherokee sport 4.0l auto.

Has anyone done this and what all has to be swapped?

 

Not saying it cannot be done but just seems a lot of work for little gain.
Wire harness, ECU, would all have to be changed

 

Thats what I wasn't for sure.. Didn't know what all exactly had to be changed to do it.
