Default Supercharger v. Stroker

I'm thinking about how I want boatloads of power pushing out of my 4L. I'm flip flopping between an Eaton M90 or a 4.7L stroker. Looking at it from several angles is leaning closer to the Eaton. So far I have weighed Arice, B: ease of install, C: time the Jeep will be down (It's a DD), D: ammount of power for the dollar spent, and E: the aftermath of both routes.

With the Eaton;
A: Price is $400 for the unit.
B: I don't have to pull the block to bore/hone it.
C: Will take about 1-2 days for install and gremlin killing.
D: ****loads of power.
E: I don't have firm info for this one.

With the Stroker:
A: Up to $3,500 for a kit. I think thats a 5.0 Kit
B: May be down for a week or more.
C: I have to Rely on a shop for most of the work.
D: Up to 325+ HP
E: I know of: New exhaust from top to bottom, New axles to handle it all, Etc.

In a perfect world I would do both, but I don't think my wallet could handle it.

So what do you guys think? I'm Taking all suggestions to heart. Bring it on.

I would say it depends on what you want to spend, it seems to me you could do alot with the extra $$$ not spent on the stoker kit. Plus I like to do things myself ( at least that way I know I'm to blame if something goes wrong). But i dont know how the supercharger is on the motor and trans, ect. Like I said though more money to fix broken stuff with the supercharger. But thats just my thoughts.

I really don't like a turbo on a 4WD. I know I have said before, "Get it hot and ford a deep creek and your going to be buying a new turbo". when I was in the Marines we were using a turbo'd Dozer, during washdown my LCPL sprayed the turbo and cracked it. It was a $1,500 part.

this is where you go find a beater car for cheap. work on your jeep with the stroker or v8 and get that running and sell the beater

you mean 42lb inj. they would be plenty. my buddy made 450 on 42lb inj and a blower and i made 380hp and 450 ft lb of torque @4000rpm's on 30lb inj on a dry nitrous kit untuned and he started spraying at 3500rpms, then my car blew through the clutch and had to stop. my car was now where near leaning out on 30's, it was so rich that the air fuel wouldnt read it. it did spike my fuel pressure to 85psi....lol... it would have made alot of power if it didnt blow through the clutch and it wasnt so rich. blowers require more fuel/bigger inj than nitrous or turbo's.

if you have a notther car to drive then is fine..

but if you want everything done right, your going to want to spend a lot of time on it...

and if a DD thats not a good thing.. i say you get a 2dr 2wd 5sp and make it a sleeper...

i to thought about doing the Stroker thing, but just the 4.8L i didnt need anything crazy..

for my jeep i looked in to doing a cam.. $800 for everthing mines a DD too. if i got 40 hp and 50 lb i wood be happy..
