No hitting:

$400 seems awefully cheap for a Supercharger. When I was looking for my GTi VR6, we were talking $5000 with no labor. Can you send a link to this supercharger? I'm all for more power in my Jeep and if it's that price I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Been down this road before. Stroker was worse than owning a boat*.

5.3/6.0L Vortec is a far superior option than a stroker or super-thingamajig.

*Boat:
Large hole in the water that you poor money into.

Wow Frank, I'm kinda disapointed in you. I thought you would really give me something to think about. I value our opinion above most and I am disapointed, But I do agree that displacement has no replacement.

I'd do the stroker for now, so it's all fresh. then maybe down the road when you have some extra funds put that super charger on.

i would either go super charger or a v8 i have heard that the 5.9 v8 from the grands will fit into an xj with no problem and those have alot of power. but if you dont want to do a full swap then just super charge it

a nice budget 4.6L will net you around 240hp and 330ftlb....about what you would make out of most small block V8's

And a stroker would be a direct bolt in obviously.
