really depends on what part of the tread needs to hit. I run 35 and my federals to get the best wear out of them so the center lugs dont just get wore. I'd go about 35 or so.

I'm running the 31x11.5x15 tsl ltb swampers & I run about 25-27psi on road! Low I know, but if you've looked around at any used swampers they're all bald in the center... Running them at around 25 will help them wear even across the *****, its just a lot louder!

well i aired em down to 30 still only 2/3rds of tread touching, so went to 25 like 4/5ths was touching so i asked my dad n he said well try 20 i was like i was ganna he said i could always just air em back up well thats pretty smart huh? so anyways i went to 20psi and the hole tread touches now, and it hooks up pretty good in the dirt.. haven't driven it yet my inspection ran out (opps) but i lost traction on a road and rolled it is why i asked was cause when my grand father mounted them he aired them up HARD and i mean HHAARRDD.. and well i lost traction on a road that was blacktop that they dumped gravel on (it was like walking on marbles) and if you get out of the tire tracks where everyone drives thats cleared then u loose traction even in a 09 f350 with 35x10r18s with ehh tread.. but back to the point i didnt need it happening and was hoping that was also what was making it ride so "DARN" rough.. well thanks everyone for the info !! hope this helps someone else and shows that you need to run the correct pis and ect. in your tires or you could be the one on your roof in the ditch.. not to mention it was a 12ft ditch.. but yeah not fun even if u can regain control best of luck to everyone.. and P.S. everyone is fine that was in the car with me.. that would be me and the girlfriend everyones fine!! thanks everyone!!

Good going, I have found that most people run MT tires with to much air in them. When I got my CJ2A it had 31x10.5 15s with 28 lbs, and you couldn't drive it up a washboard road, because the tires were so hard that they had no traction. Air down to 15 lbs in three stages and now it works great.
