What is the TB bored to?
did you get the Throttle Position Sensor installed on the TB correctly?

try disconnecting the batt for like 10 min...then reconnecting it. i havent installed a aftermarket tb on my jeep so i do not know for sure if this is common. but typically on my previous cars, after installing something new while the computer is adjusting the revs tend to "hang." so let it idle for a while and if it doesnt come down at all and your sure everything is all connected, im assuming the aftermarket tb has a idle air screw that can be adjusted?

Idle air is controlled by computer via TPS, no adjust screw
Touch battery terminals together for ten seconds to "clear" PCM
I didn't get a High Idle issue when i installed my bored TB, but could be caused by an increase in airflow....

Idle is controlled by the iac ( idle air control) its in the throttle body and its different from the tps, could also be a vacuem leak

yea, mine did that when the IAC needed to be replaced. It idled around 1200-1300 rpm's. Replaced the Idle Air Control Valve and now it purrrrrs.
