Stripped lug bolt, how do i get it off?

Question Stripped lug bolt, how do i get it off?

Im replacing some of my lug nut bolts and some advice on getting the old ones out, should i just pound them out? or do they screw in? thanks!

pound it out andget a new one and us an impact to get the new one in. You are are talking about your wheel right?

Ya I just got a BFH and smaked it out and then depending on what lug nuts you have you can just put it on backwards and use it. But mine I had to get a couple washers on the new stud and pulled it in that way.

Big c-clamp with a socket on the receiving end. Then reverse to press the new one in.

I just used a bfh and broke the whole stud off. Had to replace the stud and repaint my wheel but it worked.

I just did this i used a c-clamp and bent 2 of them. a cheap 6 inch, and a 8 inch craftsman. finally used an impact.
