1988 Cherokee Year: 1988
Model: Cherokee
Engine: 4.0
Transmission: auto
Transfer Case: stock
Front Axle: stock
Rear Axle: stock
Tires: 215/75/15
Lift Specifications: none...air shocks
Misc Accessories: not yet

being in the auto buisness for a few years,..the most common cause is bad shocks or tower grommets,...as well as unbalanced tires,..they actually work hand in hand and make a hormonic inbalance and the tires shake up and down at certain points causing the cupping action.....rotate and re-balance like everyone stated before....im not ase certified,...but i know a tire guy at Edwards tire by me in Brick N.J....(not trying to cut anybody else off)...give it a shot....

yes it starts up fine...or at least the usual since i got it a yr ago...within 2-3 secs...i believe there is a check valve or something that is leaking down while it sits,...but this problem just started all of a sudden..
