Default Stuck O2 sensor

I've PB blasted the hell out of it, and done warm and cold cycles and gave it some love taps with a hammer. Still stuck. Any other suggestions??

If anyone else has this problem, a torch on the bung will open it right up...

well, bigger is better... Can you get more leverage on it? Worse case scenario you just end up drilling it out..

thats what I thought too! But it turned out ok cause all the ceramic came off with the part that snapped, so it was a pretty straightforward removal. I was about to fall over when we first did it, though. In that first moment of panic I was pretty sure I now had spark plug in my block... But it was success in the end.

I've never had a problem on any car, truck, etc when you break it loose when your exhaust is still hot. Anyways you should be heating the bung not the o2 sensor , heating the 02 sensor will only expand the 02 sensor and that isnt what you want.Name: hammer.gif

Also be careful putting on anymore neversieze on the o2 sensor because any antisieze in the wrong spot can kill it fast, plus they already come with it applied from the factory, just a warning for everyone.Name: dash2.gif

No way. Then you'll never get it out. Like Max said, heat the bung only. Keep at it. It's a bi*** but you'll get it
