The light and 4wd won't work unless the vac hose is back on where it goes, you can still pull the shaft if needed, are you sure the front is locked? Only the passenger side locks and unlocks on your model. You should be able to spin the front driveshaft by hand whilst the TC shifter is in 2wd, if you can its unlocked and good to drive.

ok. why is my steering so tight now and it wont go into four high though?

Did you switch the vac hoses back? And did one have vacuum?

This is what it looks like, it's on the front axel. Due to the time, I would just pull the shaft and go home but as I said if the light was working and is now out you should be ok. I'll check your thread tomorrow but I'm afraid I need sleep.... Good luck.

seems to unlock in revers if i floor the gas every time. my problem was under the hood one of the houses was bad taped it and i was good.
