Does it feel normal or easier than normal? If its easier that hose you guys saw may have been the linkage not hose, if it feels normal than the TC is most likely shifting properly but your axle fork is stuck( if the fork is stuck you can simply take the front driveshaft off and drive as long as you don't have a front locker)

Ok good, your fork is stuck...you can pull the shaft...it would be easier to try pulling the vac lines off and checking to see if you have vac at the shift fork in the front axle. If you do, reverse the hoses on the shift fork and if the light goes out your good...make sure the TC handle is in the 2wd position. If you don't have vac then that's the hose you lost.

4wd feels like that. But if you don't have lockers you can pull the drive shaft and still drive. The front gears won't be turning anymore. Someone correct me if im wrong.

Correct, however there is a chance he only broke one vac line and may be able to use the other to shift to 2wd..

Redneck, you need to check for vac while running in 4wd...if you have it switch the vac hoses and see if the light goes out...if it does pull the hose off then shift the TC to 2wd and drive home...leave the hose off! Let me know how you make out.
