Default Strange vibration

I bought a 99 Cherokee that was towed for God knows how many miles behind a RV. The motor etc. only had 29K on it. It had what seemed to me to have a vibration what I thought was from the tires being flat spotted from sitting but really didnt give it much thought. I replaced the front wheel hubs, all universals, lower control arm bushings, SLE, 3.5" lift, new front drive shaft, put old front drive shaft in the rear with new universals and installed 6 degree wedges. Now I have a vibration that starts around 50mph and feels like a drive-shaft more than say the wheels. Then it calms down at around 65-70 and then goes real bad at 80ish. I climb under and everything seems fine. The universal at the rear diff might have the slightest amount of play even though its new. Any ideas? I'm at a total loss.

Could be when you put the old front drive shaft in the rear, Its probably not balance correctly for your rear shaft... Just a thought and like you siad your leaning more towards DS rather than tires..

where do you feel the vibration?? Front, rear, or the whole thing??

Can't really tell, seems to be everywhere. Its a strange feeling vib for sure. Is there a different balance for front vs. rear? I would think balanced is balanced.

Sure it see those speeds. If your driving at that speed its a spinning at that speed as well. It may or may not be under power but its a spinning.

Did you install lockout hubs? How much were they and who made them? Did you have to change wheels to accommodate the hubs?
