Strange Switch found. What is this?
My buddy and I found this today, I’ve never seen one like it before. Fog light/rear fog light? Fog light/roll bar lights from an MJ? I don’t know which Jeep it really came from, it was sitting on the dash of an 85 waggy.

My guess is European version XJ. I think there is some kind of law in parts over there that vehicles have to have rear fog lights.
Never seen switches for '96 and down type XJ's, but then again all I really pay attention to is '97 and up ones, but on the '97 and
up ones that I have seen the symbols are reversed like that.

The style of switches is the same on my 95 XJ. I'd say front and rear fog lights. To make space for a front fog light switch I'd imagine they were either on manuals so no Power/Comfort switch or no rear demist switch.

Curious, I'm from NJ as well, where / what yard did you find that? I'm always on the lookout for a junkyard with XJ (84-96) parts.

I have a “wanted” ad requesting a factory foglight switch only. The connector on the rear of the switch would be helpful too. Not the panel, just a single switch.
If anyone has one available, please contact me.
Thank you!

Definitely front and rear fogs. (Front on the left). Rear fogs are required in the EU, fronts are a common option.
Don't you get fog in the USA? 😀

Is this comes in stock option?
Hello guys,
I found a ‘93 Cherokee limited for sale and I saw one of the pictures of its interior. There’s a red button top between the fog lights and defrost switch
Does this switch dash comes in stock from the factory? If so then what it is used for?
thanks alot
