Default Strange sound coming from rear after Add-a-leaf

I recently put on a pair of OME D22XL leaves. I now get a strange clicking/clunking sound from the rear when I go around a corner. I also get the sound if I stand next to a rear wheel and rock the Jeep side to side. Does any one have any idea what could be the cause of this?
Thanks

Check your U bolts and make sure they are tight. If they are, jack up the rear and try to move the rear tires in and out.

I jacked it up, and I can move the tires in and out. What do you think the cause is, and is it because of the lift?

need to re-adjust your drums.... it's kinda a guess, but its not really affected by the AAL, my jeep does that and i know its my drums being lose from the pads ....... maybe pull ur tires off and if your drums just fall off then turn the self adjusters out (on the bottom of the pads)
if the drums comes off with some force then nvm i apologize for wasting time lol

My drums fall right off and I hear that noise to, would you have some pictures of the adjusters?? and what do you mean by turning them out?

Drum brake self-adjuster is the lower pivot for the brake shoes. It will only turn freely in one direction unless it is stripped. The self adjuster arm prevents it from turning "backwards"

so in other words, it pushes the pads closer to the drum?

it takes up the slack in the shoes between the shoe and the drum. if your are able to move the wheel in and out when its bolted on, its not the drum. the lugs will hold the drum tight regardless of the adjuster. if the wheels move in and out more than a fraction of an inch you should be looking at the axle retainers. there should be very little end play on the axles.

wow real rookie mistake thx for the clarification..... very true, correction if your rear wheels move back and forth and it is the drums,, well my friend you have a bigger problem lol cuz where did those lug nuts go.......

i guess it all depends on what rear axle he has then.... if its a floater or a c-clip... but if it was a c-clip (and if it was broken) then the whole shaft and wheel would come right out

the c clips can wear and cause slack
or if it has a bearing retainer the bearings could be going bad

what axle is it

I have absolutly no play in my wheel, but the drum comes off rather easy

I got my entire rear brakes done(combo kit, cylinger, pads ect..) but I kept my old drums,Just wanted to know how to tighten it,

I second this!
I also torqued mine when i installed my lift and it still made the same noise you are describing. i put a 1/2 set up on it and tightend the crap out of it. noise went away
