Hi, I was thinking of 3D printing some spacers for my radiator (it's zip tied to the condensor right now) but the highest temp filament I can find would make a part that could start to bend at 235F. Do you reckon that'll be OK under an XJ hood or should I just go with bending metal?

I used carbon fiber petg filament for a coil mounted to the AC compressor. It held up for a while but the summer temps made it warp. The coil mount was moved to the coolant overflow bottle after that.

 

Interesting! That's tough stuff mechanically, but seems to have a relatively low deflection temp.

I guess the only real answer here is to give it a go
