Stock Radio?
Hey. So the cassette player in my XJ does not work anymore. It will accept the tapes, but only to spit them back out at you moments later.
Does anyone know anywhere that I can take it to get that fixed? I hate, hate, hate the idea of putting a CD player or something like that in there. I want to keep it just the way it is.
Thanks.

Why not replace it with another oem unit, they are pretty easy to come by. Otherwise i believe united radio fixes them, they are based out of ny so youd have to ship it in. Probably cost you more in postage and repairs than a used ebay or forum radio.

I found a brand new Mopar AM/FM Casette unit on ebay for $70.00 w/free shipping. You probably couldn't get your's fixed for that price. ---GeezerD

I just gave mine away to a local (to me) thrift store. You might call the Fresno Rescue Mission and see if they still have it. Cost should be small and shipping is no big thing.
