I am trying to locate my TCU to do the second gear lock mod and have not been able to locate it.

OK, I found it myself with help from another source.

For anybody else looking for it, it is just above the accelerator pedal. I had a hard time because all of the writeups that I looked at were for older XJs that had it under the dasy on the passenger side.
