the return line isn't the one that clamps over the resevoir in the back of the pump... regular fuel/pvc hose will do 5/16 maybe? not sure off the top of my head.

Which would be happier with the cooler?
Seems to me with the tranny being cooler the
motor stays cooler.
And being a 2000 with weaker head its best to keep the motor temp down
It runs under 210 degrees now but ambient temp has not hit 80 degrees yet in New England
Also it's stock so I haven't wheeled hard yet

looks like the Hayden tranny cooler I put on mine last week, except on the opposite side. I'd leave it alone. how likely are you to overheat your power steering? dunno, that might be an issue on really twisty off-road stuff...
