There's your answer right there. You may find a local electrical shop to rebuild the starter. Cleaning the commutator and new brushes may help, but if it's a heat related problem it's probably shot windings.

I'v been threw the starter that came with my jeep and the starte from my parts rig in 9k miles. Both decided to slowly quit working, turn the key and nothing.. few taps on the starter with a hammer and it would crank.
I'll be buying a new starter next, brand new with life time warrenty is only like $60.

they are going to look at the starter, starter selenoid.
the cps was tested and its fine
the battery connections are fine, as the battery terminals too
when i hear the click when i turn the key
power windows, locks, radio, interior lights, headlights all work
