just brought my "weak" battery to 3 different places to have it tested
they all said my battery is fine. about 70%
But here is the thing, my jeep leaves me stranded just about after every drive i make
and when i do get stranded, i cant jump start my jeep...it doesnt do anything
5-10 min later my jeep will start up like nothing happened
When i turn the key, it just clicks, as if my battery is 100% dead. but the lights are on inside, radio works, power windows work
help guys before i sell this thing off to someone looking for a project

Easy fix if you don't mind crawling under the jeep. Just two electric connections and two bolts.

I got a feeling its not my starter
if i pull the battery out, then put it back in my jeep will start just fine
its when it sits after being run
say i go to the store, run inside for 5 min, when i come back out i hear click everytime i turn the key as if my battery is dead

have you checked the battery voltage when it is "dead"--not starting? next time it happens check the battery voltage, then unhook the terminals and check it with nothing hooked up to it.
Although it does sound like it's not a voltage problem, i would check it just to eliminate it. you might have something draining the battery--a long shot but you have to check it off the list.

It's a very common problem when a starter motor is going bad and it gets hot it will stop working. Eventually it will not start even when cold.
There's really only three things it could be since you're getting a clicking sound when you can't start:
1. Battery, I feel you can rule this out as it will start after sitting a short time.
2. Wires, Again, the fact that it will start after a short while without doing anything leads me to believe it's not the wiring.
3. Starter Motor, Know problem of hot starter motors. Sometimes banging on the side of the starter motor with a small hammer might get it to work. If it does then you've certainly found the problem.

i had the same symptom, same concern, would happen once twice daily, starter fixed it now for about a month and 1/2, before you take it outta the box, check to make sure it has a good connections at the starter and where it bolts up, clean any and all residual oil as it could cause a ground issue.
