.

got these rims for $36.82 on 30 inch tires at the jy, theyre 8 inch steelies with 35 12/50 15s

WHY wouldnt you be able to use anything over 10.5????

So the same link you use to say this is good, also says its not good.

for 40,000 miles (33x12.50 BFG MTs)of my past experience says they wear fine. but you are the one that said you would loose the bead easier on a narrower rim. that was the point i was trying to make that they would hold better. explaining why i used the term "poor mans bead lock"

also when steel wheels bend you add air, beat on the bent part of the bead with a hammer or blunt object until it stops leaking. can be done on the trail and is free compared to replacing an aluminum wheel that chips off when it gives

for street aluminum is cool
for wheelin steel is cool

It was your link that stated they'd chew up the rubber uneven, not mine, pal.

your argument was the fact that they would not hold the bead better. many people say they wear fine like myself. it all depends weather you have the right air pressure for road travel. this means running lower air so the tires dont crown
