Stalling Issue
Looking for some more outside opinions.
I have a 98 cherokee that is having issues with an extremely rough idle in park and in reverse. It will idle very low in park, with varying and choppy rpm levels, and stall often. In reverse, it will choke and stall most of the time as well. However, in drive it is perfectly fine. I had the codes read and the map sensor was bad. I replaced the map sensor, cleaned the throttle body, and put a new IAC valve on as well, yet the problems remain. Any ideas?

Did the map sensor code resolve with the installation of the new map sensor? If not, you gotta concentrate on the entire map sensor circuit. Vacuum line and pay special attention to the end of the line where it connects, map sensor connectors, wiring, etc.
