got a 2003 gd cher srs has been on forever now want to sell. need to repair and turn light off. my 150.00 dollar scaner won't read the code's but the last time the dealer looked at it the said that it had two dtc's stored. 1 being squib short to battery with 27 ign counts, and 2 passenger curtain squib short to battery with 230 ign counts. I know the clock spring is a known failure item on these cars, but I don't think that it will set these codes. Any help I can get will be greatly appreciated. 55fast

yes they both work. I ave a little more info from wife I never drive this car. It stated about 3 years ago as an intermitent light and chime every once in awhile and has peogressivly gotten wrose over the last few years. then about two monts ago it came on and stayed on. It was about 3 tears ago that the dealer said the dash board had to be removed to ck for pinched wires in the wireing loom to the tune of about $ 600 to $800.
